Word games are a great way to keep a language alive at home. Teka Kata gives you six tries to guess a five-letter Malay word. Green means the right letter in the right spot; yellow means the letter is somewhere else in the word.
The tricky bit: double letters
Guess KAKAK when the answer is KAWAN and the colours have to be careful: only as many As light up as the answer actually has. Getting that right was most of the work.
The word list is small for now, about 80 everyday words. Suggest more in the comments, especially ones kids learn in school.
