The first version of this idea was a lock: finish your quiz, then your phone unlocks. On paper it made sense. But it risked turning study into a punishment and the phone into the prize.
So the idea pivoted. Pau Study now lives only on the child’s phone and tries to be the thing they want to open: short rounds, stars and streaks, and a friendly tutor called Pau who explains in English or 中文.
What is in the demo
- 听写 with a real Chinese voice: pick the right characters.
- Times tables in quick rounds, with a streak counter.
- Ejaan for BM spelling.
- Ask Pau: tips like "two moons side by side are friends: 朋".
